Last month, associates, partners and members of our community came together for The Challenge and celebrated an incredible milestone: raising more than $11 million to support the mental health and well-being of young people.
The Challenge, A&F Co.’s annual fundraiser and music festival, culminates a year of fundraising and community engagement. This year, more than 5,000 guests gathered to support six nonprofit partners advancing youth mental health and well-being.
Funds raised through The Challenge will support Glisten, The Jed Foundation (JED), The Kids Mental Health Foundation, SeriousFun Children’s Network, The Steve Fund and The Trevor Project.
This year’s total builds on a longstanding legacy of impact. Since The Challenge began in 2001, Abercrombie & Fitch Co., its customers and business partners have raised more than $74 million for organizations supporting the well-being of young people.
“Supporting mental health and well-being remains a key focus of our impact work, and we’re grateful to everyone who gave their time and energy throughout the year to make this our most successful Challenge to date,” said Fran Horowitz, Chief Executive Officer of Abercrombie & Fitch Co. “We’re proud to work alongside six impact partners whose missions resonate deeply across our organization and create meaningful change for young people, their families and future generation.”
The event also showcased the power of community. With performances from Maroon 5, The Lumineers, Dasha and more, attendees came together for an unforgettable evening united by a common purpose.
Thank you to everyone who showed up and helped make a difference. See you next year!
