The 21st annual Challenge was another one for the books! On Friday, 9/22, we gathered under the stars with close to 6,000 members of our A&F Co. Community—associates, customers and business partners—for our annual music festival meets fundraiser. Guests traveled from over 20 countries to be with us in person. Another 1K+ joined us virtually.

Together, we celebrated raising a record-breaking $8+ million for our six non-profit impact partners: The Academy Group, Inc., GLSEN, Hollister Confidence Project, SeriousFun Children’s Network, The Steve Fund and The Trevor Project

These organizations are contributing to a better world by focusing on empowering future generations. They are unlocking opportunities for students in underserved communities, answering the call of struggling LGBTQ+ young people and providing confidence-building experiences to the next generation around the world. We’re grateful that the generosity of every donation will help support these partners and their meaningful work.

As in previous years, The Challenge took place at the Global Home Office in New Albany, Ohio. The campus transformed into a high energy venue, complete with unlimited food and drink. There was also a beer garden with larger-than-life games courtesy of Rhinegeist Brewery, custom DIY apparel, axe throwing, hot air balloon rides, and hours of musical entertainment headlined by Kygo and AJR.

The Challenge is a culmination of fundraising throughout the year—an acknowledgement and celebration of what is possible when we work together. With the support of our associates, customers and partners, we’ve raised more than $45 million since the event started in 2001.

We look forward to many more years dedicated to this important mission.
