Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) Month at A&F Co.

This October, we held A&F Co.’s second annual I&D Month. Associates were encouraged to embrace  I&D through education, connection and celebration of our I&D principles: representation, leadership, learning and equity.   As a company, we’ve prioritized ongoing learning, with a primary focus on the development and delivery of the I&D Core Curriculum—an evergreen learning journey.

Hispanic Heritage Month

This year, we celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 – Oct. 15) through associate spotlights, weekly cultural food offerings and more.   Giveaways throughout the month included flags, stickers and fliers with educational resources. Every Wednesday at our Global Home Office, our breakfast, lunch and 3@3 afternoon snacks in the café celebrated food from different.

A&F Co. Associate Resource Groups (ARGs) are developed with a mission to honor and empower associates. The Women & Allies ARG, specifically, exists to support intersectional identities of all women-identifying associates through leadership development, speaker series and community building.  Our Global Brand President and North America Managing Director, Kristin Scott, joined a Women & Allies.

A&F Partners with Harlem’s Fashion Row to Create Limited-Edition Capsule Collection 

Abercombie & Fitch (A&F) recently announced the launch of a limited-edition capsule collection in partnership with Harlem’s Fashion Row (HFR) designer, Nicole Benefield. HFR is an Influential Arts & Entertainment organization that creates a bridge between fashion brands and designers of color through marketing, media and collaborations. This collection reflects a compilation of those efforts.

The A&F Co. Camp Counselor Program returned in full swing this year, following several years of local and virtual-only volunteer opportunities. The 21st Annual Challenge Raises $8+ Million for A&F Co.’s Impact Partners 

The 21st annual Challenge was another one for the books! On Friday, 9/22, we gathered under the stars with close to 6,000 members of our A&F Co. Community—associates, customers and business partners—for our annual music festival meets fundraiser. Guests traveled from over 20 countries to be with us in person.
