A&F Co. is committed to sourcing animal products and fibers from legitimate processors that only use humane animal treatment policies.
The following animal products and fibers are not to be used in A&F Co. products:
- Pig leather
- Real animal fur and yarns, including alpaca, angora-rabbit, chinchilla, coyote, fox, mink, mohair and raccoon
- Wool sourced through mulesing practices
- Goose down and feathers sources through “live plucking” practices
The following animal products and fibers may be sourced for A&F Co. products if procured through industry accepted third party certifications:
- Down (Responsible Down Standard)
- Merino Wool (Responsible Wool Standard, Global Recycled Standard or Recycled Claim Standard)
- Wool (Responsible Wool Standard, Global Recycled Standard or Recycled Claim Standard)
