This year, we celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 – Oct. 15) through associate spotlights, weekly cultural food offerings and more.
Giveaways throughout the month included flags, stickers and fliers with educational resources. Every Wednesday at our Global Home Office, our breakfast, lunch and 3@3 afternoon snacks in the café celebrated food from different Hispanic/Latino countries. Associates enjoyed Cuban sandwiches, ropa vieja, churros and more.
Our most meaningful takeaways were the stories that associates shared with us firsthand about their identities and cultures. District Managers as well as GHO and Distribution Center associates told us about their lived experiences and how their Hispanic/Latino culture makes them proud.
