Tell us about your role and what you are responsible for at A&F Co.

I am a Senior Administrative Assistant and I support Carey Krug (Chief Marketing Officer) and Joanna Ewing (GVP Creative Marketing). My primary responsibilities are managing and organizing my leaders’ calendars and ensuring that they are in the right places at the right times. I also collaborate with an amazing group of admins across Global Home Office (GHO) to coordinate large scale meetings and work through any potential roadblocks.

What does success look like in your job?

In my role, success for me is when the end of the day approaches and I see clean and organized calendars in front me with no outstanding conflicts and a healthy balance of work time and “me” time for my leaders. I want to set them up for success and ensure they have time to breathe, eat and catch up on their day.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

Besides my dog waiting for me to take her out, it’s the people I get to work with! I look forward to driving to campus and seeing my peers, colleagues and all the campus energy. We have a wonderful community of people here and I’m lucky I get to work with them.

If you weren’t doing this, what other job or role would you love to pursue?

Stand-up comedy or author. These are two things I’m actively working on. I have found such joy and healing in making others laugh, and I love to write about my experiences and tell stories that may motivate others (while also making them laugh out loud).

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

Taking my dog Lucy (named after Lucy Ricardo) for walks. My favorite ritual takes place every Sunday: I get a coffee and walk Lucy throughout German Village. Seeing her living her best life is pure happiness.
